Tacolneston Church of England Primary Academy

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.

Here at Tacolneston we are a small, friendly Church of England school. We are proud of our reputation for providing a good quality education within a caring Christian environment. Our school provides a wide range of experiences for all children so that everyone can have success and enjoy coming to school. We aim to encourage a love of learning from an early age, delivering an exciting curriculum. We expect our children to work hard and be active in their lessons as we believe this is essential for both success and enjoyment of learning. All aspects of school life are underpinned by a set of Christian values – we teach children to value themselves, others, their community and the environment, thinking ahead to our children’s place in the communities of the future.

Tacolneston SIAMS inspection took place on 10th October 2024. We are delighted with the report which gives an excellent summary of our schools ‘strong foundation’, ‘broad and ambitious curriculum’ and how, as a church school, we enable ‘deep thinking and reflection’ with ‘pupils able to express their learning in a variety of ways.’ The full SIAMS report is available here.

"We love this school and the close knit relationships both staff and children have."
"We think the school and teachers are fab and all are doing a great job.’‘
"Teachers work consistently with classes and encourage our child’s best at all opportunities.’"

Our overarching vision for Tacolneston and Morley Federation is:

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace 1 Peter 4:10

At Tacolneston Primary Academy, we use the gifts we have received to shine our light.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
“Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky.” Daniel 12:3

Shine as bright as the sky
